Les Paul Roque | Founder
I was born and raised in Ewing Township, NJ and currently residing in Phoenix, AZ since the 1994. Because my mother, Carrie Roque, was such a kind-hearted, loving, devoted to helping other, and just a warm soul, those values manifested and became part of my everyday life. Traveling the world by music and performing with many artists made me realize that success is nothing if you don’t give back - it's nothing. The glitz and glamour. Who cares? Simply, God has been great to me. I wanted to allow musicians, like myself, to give back to those who are in need. I vow to do my best to help ease some of their pain, so I give A Gift From Music.

Angelina Avila
My name is Angelina and I play as a valley piano player in, mainly, the Phoenix area. In 2017, I saw an ad in the newspaper about Les Paul’s weekly jam sessions hosted in Youngtown. It was the best decision ever once I entered those doors and witnessed the polished and well-accomplished piano player Les is. Since then, that opportunity led to a forever musician partnership, amazing friendship, and, of course, the greatest opportunity to get involved with our local community. I started to get involved with AGFM little by little in 2018, which was when I was able to witness the warmth and happiness from the families we delivered their wishlists to. Many families go through the trials of life and being able to offer any relief we can as musicians that are giving back is absolutely priceless! I cannot wait to produce more acts of philanthropy to help our communities!

Allen Lane
In 2008, Les and I were mutual Facebook friends and from there he quickly became a mentor/father figure to me by guiding me onto the right path while I resided in Chicago. One of my top memories I have of Les’ charitable acts was when we found a young woman locked out of her car at the mall crying. Les helped the girl out and invited her to join the dinner we were on our way to. The girl ended up coming to help us shop for toys for families a few days later. I thought that was very special of her to give back right after just being on the receiving end of a helping hand… I joined this organization by naturally supporting family, but was even more willing to put forth extra effort because it’s such a great cause. I can relate to not receiving anything for Christmas as a child. Even though I didn’t struggle as some of my childhood friends did, I witnessed local churches gifting happiness by putting a present in their hand and showing them that someone in the world still cared about them. That’s why this charity touches so close to home.
